The concept behind skin biorevitalisation is the basis of a regenerating beauty treatment, the result will be a toned, young and fresh looking skin for a long period of time.

What is biorevitalisation?
Simply put, biorevitalisation is a procedure that uses the technique of intradermal injections of unmodified hyaluronic acid. The mechanism of action is based on the stimulating effect on the cells of the dermis layer of the skin. The consequence of this restructuring is the rejuvenation of the skin.
Although biorevitalisation is based on the fundamental principles of mesotherapy

  • low doses
  • direct introduction into specific tissue

its effects are not limited to the dermis, but also indirectly involve the epidermis.
Improvement is brought about by the increased hydration of the skin.
In general, biorevitalisation:

  • improves the structure of the skin
  • increases the adaptability of the skin

This revitalisation treatment is, in short, the biological stimulation of the skin's natural metabolism. The substances used are generally based on hyaluronic acid and collagen.
Why is hyaluronic acid so unique? Hyaluronic acid is natural and is found in the skin cells. This acid stimulates the skin cells, triggering the natural process of collagen production as a result:

  • regeneration
  • rejuvenation

Who can undergo biorevitalisation treatment?
The treatment is aimed at all those who present a reduction of:

  • firmness
  • tone
  • elasticity

How many times can you undergo biorevitalisation treatment?
Although hyaluronic acid is a natural component, there are limits to the biorevitalisation procedure. It all depends on:

  • skin type and characteristics
  • the treatments that have already been administered.

Generally, for visible results, recommended sessions vary from 3 to 5, with a break of 2 weeks between each one. The maintenance treatment can be carried out every 6 months.

What is the procedure for biorevitalisation treatment?
Biorevitalisation is painless.
After a thorough cleansing of the skin, the areas that most need to be treated are identified. In some cases an anaesthetic cream can also be used. Only afterwards does the specialist select the injectable medication to be used. The package must be opened in front of the person undergoing the treatment and the following must be marked on the package:

  • the composition of the drug
  • the expiration date
  • any further information

Once the hyaluronic acid is injected:

  • it fills all cavities
  • it retains liquids
  • it does not allow the deep layers of skin to dehydrate

Usually, the whole procedure takes about one hour.

What are the injection techniques used for biorevitalisation treatment?
Injection techniques vary widely for biorevitalisation treatment. The choice of a particular technique is based on:

  • skin condition
  • the type of problem
  • the extent of the problem

Hyaluronic acid injections can reach both the deep and superficial layers of the skin.
Hyaluronic acid injections can be:

  • Intramuscular
  • Intradermal
  • Subcutaneous

depending on the situation.
The areas that are treated most often include:

  • the entire face
  • naso-labial wrinkles
  • the chin
  • the area around the eyes

Hyaluronic acid is injected under the skin using a thin needle:

  • to ensure the minimum number of tracks after the procedure
  • to minimise the pain

The substances used for biorevitalisation treatment Today the market offers many drugs for biorevitalisation All are formulated on the basis of hyaluronic acid with the addition of:

  • various natural and biochemical components
  • vitamins
  • macronutrients
  • trace elements
  • minerals

The choice of drug is always individual, depending on the characteristics of the facial skin and the recommendations of the doctor or dermatologist.

The action of hyaluronic acid Hyaluronic acid has several characteristics, among them:

  • moisturising and restructuring effect

The hyaluronic acid molecule is able to maintain the necessary and natural hydration of the skin, and therefore the skin's firmness.

  • activation of fibroblasts

hyaluronic acid triggers increased production of fibroblasts and, consequently, the synthesis of collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix

  • antioxidant effect

Hyaluronic acid inactivates free radicals and the oxidation mechanism, the skin therefore improves its ability to adapt due to:

  • reconstruction of the quality of the extracellular matrix
  • strengthening of the skin's resistance to the effects of free radicals
  • prolonged enhancement of individual hyaluronic acid production
